These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Rein ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Alexandra Hassan, doing business as Rein ("Company"). By accessing or using our services at https://www.getrein.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Rein is for users 18 years of age and older only.
Rein is a personal finance application that helps users make smarter spending decisions using AI-powered analysis. Users enter their financial profile and receive personalized spending verdicts based on their income, expenses, and spending habits. Our services are hosted in the United States and intended for personal use only.
You may create an account to use our services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Rein offers a free tier (5 verdict checks per month) and a Pro subscription at $2.99 per month. The Pro subscription automatically renews monthly until cancelled. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account settings or by contacting us at support@getrein.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for subscription payments already processed. You will continue to have access to Pro features until the end of your paid billing period.
IMPORTANT: Rein provides general financial guidance for informational and educational purposes only. Rein is NOT a licensed financial advisor, broker, or investment advisor. Nothing on Rein constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other type of professional financial advice.
The spending verdicts and recommendations provided by Rein are based solely on information you provide and are generated by artificial intelligence. They do not account for your complete financial situation, tax circumstances, risk tolerance, or other factors that a qualified financial advisor would consider.
You should always consult a qualified financial advisor before making significant financial decisions. Rein is not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on information provided through our services. The decision is always yours.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REIN'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO REIN IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
REIN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FINANCIAL LOSSES, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE OUR SERVICES.
REIN PROVIDES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OF ANY CONTENT OR VERDICTS PROVIDED THROUGH OUR SERVICES.
Informal Resolution: Before initiating any formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at support@getrein.app and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
Binding Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in New York, United States, rather than in court. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit. We agree to pay arbitration fees if they are deemed excessive.
Court Proceedings: If any dispute proceeds in court rather than arbitration, it shall take place in New York.
Time Limit: Any claim must be brought within one (1) year of the event giving rise to the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will notify you by email at the address associated with your account before the update takes effect. Your continued use of Rein after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
